Overview

This website is a browser-based editor. Based on the inspected project files, layouts, image editing, text layers, and exports are processed directly in the browser. At this time there are no user accounts, no contact form, no embedded analytics or tracking services, and no externally loaded webfonts in the live application.

Hosting and server log files

When this website is accessed, the hosting environment may process technically necessary server log files. This may include in particular IP address, date and time of access, requested file, amount of data transferred, referrer, browser type, and operating system. Processing is carried out to ensure secure delivery, stability, and abuse prevention of the website on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Cookies and local storage

After reviewing the code, the live application uses one technically necessary cookie named “copyshop_lang”. It stores only the selected language (German or English) so the interface can load in the preferred language on the next visit. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. No additional cookies or comparable tracking technologies were identified in the reviewed live application.

Processing inside the application

Uploaded images, cutout shapes, text layers, and export files are processed inside the application in the browser. Export happens locally on the user's device. Based on the reviewed project, no server-side image or layout processing is apparent inside the live application.

External links

The startup window contains external support links. A connection to the respective external website is only established when such a link is actively clicked. From that moment on, the privacy policies of the respective providers apply.

Fonts used

The live application uses only locally available system fonts, including Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, Courier New, MS Sans Serif, and—depending on the text layer setting—other locally installed standard fonts. No external webfont loading was identified in the live application.

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

Help – Copyshop 95

Copyshop 95 is a retro editor for Xerox, flyer, and collage looks. You combine images and text layers on a fixed canvas, give each layer its own edge style, and then apply a global copyshop treatment to the whole document.

Project

Orientation: A4 portrait, A4 landscape, or square.
DPI: 72, 150, 300, or 600 dpi.
Color mode: black / white or color.
Background: paper, white, or gray.
Document stats: current document size and export pixel dimensions.
Collapsible sections: the large sidebar sections can be opened and closed individually.

Images, text & layers

Load image: loads images and opens the cutout editor directly.
Text layer: creates a new text layer immediately.
Shape: opens the shared shape editor for all shapes.
Layer list: top = front.
Drag & Drop: reorder layers directly in the list.
Double-click a layer: reopens the cutout, text, or shape editor.
Delete / Backspace: removes the selected layer while no dialog is open.

Workspace

↶ / ↷: undo / redo.
+ / −: zoom.
Fit: fits the canvas into the window.
Grid: toggles the grid.
Clear all: removes all layers.
DE / EN language switch: top right next to “Clear all”.

Top-right window controls

_: expands all menus and sections.
□: toggles browser or app fullscreen mode.
×: collapses all menus and sections.
In installed app mode these buttons act as built-in convenience controls for the interface.

Cutout editor

Starts with the full rectangular selection.
Place points, Close shape, Undo point, and Reset points.
Torn edge or Cut edge with preset, depth, roughness, spikes, and seed.
Layer brightness / Layer contrast, Layer color, and Shadow only affect the current image layer.
Existing image layers reuse their saved path when reopened.

Text editor

Layer name, Text, Font, Alignment, Font size, Line height, and Letter spacing.
Fill color, Stroke color, Stroke, Layer color, and Shadow.
Line breaks are manual only.
Double-clicking a text layer opens the editor again.

Shape editor

Shape always opens the same shape editor.
The dropdown lets you choose Circle, Square, Triangle, Arrow, Hexagon, Diamond, Star, and Sun.
Layer name, Size, Fill color, Stroke color, Stroke, Layer color, and Shadow.
If no custom layer name is entered, the current shape name is used.
Double-clicking a shape layer opens the editor again.

Selected layer

Name, Scale, Rotation, Opacity, X / Y.
Edit layer opens the cutout, text, or shape editor depending on the layer type.
Duplicate and Remove.
Image layers support edge and local FX editing, text layers show alignment and font info, and shape layers show their current shape type.

Copyshop look

Copies, Contrast, Brightness, Threshold / Posterization, Noisefloor, Dust, Streaks, Softness, and Paper.
Randomize FX and Reset FX.
All global FX also affect text layers.

Install as app

The site is prepared as an installable web app.
For installation it should run over https or locally on localhost.
Depending on the browser you can add it as an app through the install icon or browser menu.
The installed version starts without the normal browser chrome and feels more like a standalone little program.
After updates it can help to reload the app once so the service worker and cache pick up the new version.

Export

Export PNG or Export JPG.
Export always uses the current orientation, DPI, layer order, text layers, image layers, background, and global effects.
